Our menu is a three-week menu and offers two delicious hot main meal options every day – one of which is always vegetarian – and a packed lunch option as well. Every Monday is ‘meat free’ and plant-based menus are available on request. Every Wednesday is ‘Roast Day’ and Friday’s are the one day a week we serve chips!

SPECIAL LUNCHES

As part of our theme days, we will be holding a ‘World Book Day’ lunch on Thursday 7th March 2024.

If you would like your child/children to have lunch on this day, then please complete the booking form below and return to your school office no later than Monday 4th March. The cost of this lunch for Key Stage 2 children is as per your school’s normal meal price.  Please pay in the same way.

For Reception and Key Stage 1 children this lunch is included in the Universal Free School Meal Allowance.  If your child is entitled to have a free school meal then you will not need to pay any additional cost, but please return the slip to the office by Monday 4th March 2024.

There are copies available in the lobby and also, for pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, the tick sheet menus (peach). Please leave your completed menu sheets in the box in the lobby or email us your choices.  For Reception, Year 1 & 2 if you do not provide us with a completed form then your child will automatically be given Option 1 for that specific day.

Plant based and allergen aware menus are also available please contact the school office for further details.

KS2 - Junior pupils (Years 3-6)

The cost of a school dinner is currently £2.30 for children in KS2. Pupils order their lunch each morning during registration and can choose from the main meal, vegetarian option, jacket potato or a school packed lunch. Alternatively, pupils can bring a packed lunch from home.

FS & KS1 - Infant pupils (Reception, Year 1 & 2)

Pupils in Reception, Year 1 & 2 are entitled to a hot free school meal as part of the government scheme providing free school meals to infant age pupils.

Parents are able to pre-order a school dinner via the menu selections sheets which are sent out to parents by email when the menu changes. Paper copies are available in the lobby. Each day there is a choice of main meal and vegetarian option or jacket potato with cheese and/or beans. A School Packed Lunch is available to choose on Tuesday and Thursdays ONLY. Alternatively, pupils can bring in a packed lunch from home.

Packed Lunches

Children not having a school meal should bring a packed lunch. If you include a drink, please do not send fizzy drinks or drinks in a glass container. Energy drinks such as Monster, Red Bull or Prime are not permitted within school. Children have access to fresh water.  Please avoid including chocolate, sweets or other unhealthy foods as part of your child’s packed lunch.

Some of our pupils have a nut allergy and to avoid any problems at school, please do not include any items containing nuts in your child's packed lunch.
